At Village Kids, we believe children must have developmental prerequisites before they can begin formal learning. Our curriculum helps children develop the skills necessary to successfully read and write. Reading, like walking, is a natural process, and not all children are ready at the same time. The teachers in Village Two work with the children to develop social skills with their peers, promoting language development.
The preschool curriculum is based on the interests our children are currently exhibiting. Themed and age-appropriate project materials are provided in each activity area allowing children to expand their knowledge and skills. Our curriculum continues outside by providing activities for large motor skills. The children are challenged physically by climbing, pedaling bikes and running.
