Generally, children who are successful in public school have already been exposed to reading, writing, and mathematics long before they arrive at the elementary school campus. Village Kids uses a blend of the High Reach Learning® and The Foundations Curriculum in our Pre-Kindergarten program. Children are introduced to math, sight and focus words, telling time, proper writing skills, tying shoes as well as offering encouragement to be expressive through art.

Each Pre-Kindergarten classroom is equipped with age-appropriate play areas for the following activities:

Each classroom has a daily schedule posted in a designated space for easy reference by parents and staff.

7:00 – 9:00 a.m. : Arrival & Free Play
9:00 – 9:20 a.m. : Morning Snack
9:20 – 9:40 a.m. : Group Time
9:40 – 10:45 a.m. : Center Play
10:45 – 11:00 a.m. : Outside Play
10:30 – 11:00 a.m. : Choice of Activity
11:30 – 11:35 a.m. : Hand Washing for Lunch
11:35 – 12:00 p.m. : Lunch
12:00 – 12:30 p.m. : Bathroom & Storytime
